Our Laborshed
With six counties in a 30-minute drive and three within an hour’s commute, Winston County's primary laborshed consists of 9 counties. Attala, Choctaw, Kemper, Leake, Lowndes, Neshoba, Noxubee, Oktibbeha, and Winston Counties make up the primary laborshed . There are also inbound labor commuters from counties outside, including Lauderdale, Scott, and Hinds. State four-lane highways like Mississippi Route 25 encourage the growth of Winston County and our neighboring counties as well.
